One of my most favorite things in life is coffee, but most of you already know that. My goal is to try out at least 90% of the coffee shops in and around Charlotte. So far, I’ve been doing a pretty good job. Coffee shops excite me and I don’t even know what my fascination with them is. I get all “christmasy” inside when I enter one. Remember that feeling you got as a kid when you entered the toy store? Well, it’s kind of like that.
Last weekend, Emilee and I went to Nova’s Bakery to grab coffee and a treat after our trip to the farmers market.
Nova’s Bakery is in Charlotte’s Southend. It’s very cottage-y and rustic. The staff was super friendly and the guy behind the counter was hilarious. I love a coffee shop with personality.
Their coffee was really good too. I’m pretty picky with how coffee tastes at coffee shops and that’s why I usually go with a latte, but Nova’s surprised me.
I also had to try one of their little cannolis. Holy Cannoli! It was incredible. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.
I love walking around the neighborhoods with coffee in Charlotte. Most of the roads are quaint and filled with character.

Omg coffee is my favorite thing as well. Although I’m not quite as adventurous as your seem to be with it! I know what I like and I usually stick to just that. That’s an adorable town btw!

I’m jealous of the views you take in. I live in suburbia and my view is track houses. Walking around the block by your house actually looks adventurous!

I couldn’t agree more about the coffee shop feels. I love to try out new ones to taste new coffee, find a new spot, and absolutely love personality at them. There is a happy feeling associated with that, no doubt. Your pictures make me want to move to Charlotte!
