Good morning and happy Monday!
I had a very successful weekend full of working out, girl’s nights, putting the place together, and down time by the pool. That’s what the weekends are all about. I’m getting really excited about decorating the place, but have an obsession with doing my own art instead of buying pre made art for the walls. Something I’ve been doing is drawing something, taking a photo of it and uploading it o the computer.
After I upload it to the computer, I play with the colors and filters and then upload them to a site and get them printed on canvas. Above is the elephant I drew on Saturday. I’m still playing with some colors before I get it printed. I think I’m going to do a collage with all kinds of colors and shades. I’m thinking mainly grey and gold to go with my room colors.
I could sit for hours and play with the colors.
After my workout Saturday and playing around with the art, I went out for a long workout with Samantha. I talk about it in a previous post and promised to post the recipe for the smoothie above. So here it is!
*1 cup of unsweetened flax milk (can be replaced with any kind of milk), *2 cups ice, *1 cup water, *1 serving Genisoy protein powder, *1 packet all natural Truvia Mango drink mix, and *1/2 banana.

You drew that elephant!?! It’s amazing! You are so talented! It would be a good Live Ashore design! 😉

I agree with the comment below, the elephant would make a GREAT liveashore design. I am not sure it goes completely with your beach theme but that elephant is amazing.

I’ve seen prints of almost near-identical elephants. You’re amazing! I wish I could draw period, let alone WELL. 🙂

That really would make cool wall art! What website do you use to edit the graphic and get the canvas printed? I am still on a desperate search for cheap, cute decorations for my new place.

You’re such a good drawer! It’s beautiful.. Very impressive. I agree it’d make a great design on your live ashore shirts or just selling the print itself.

Who knew there was a little artist living in you?! 🙂 That elephant design is amazing and I completely agree that you should make it part of your liveashore collection or selling it as a print! I love elephants!

My sister made something similar. She drew it too – I’m impressed how well it’s done!

Hey Taralynn! Your art is fantastic! Have you ever heard of etsy.com? You ought to check it out and try to sell some of your art! I just recently opened a shop for my art on there – it’s slow progress but my inventory is small for now. I read in another post of yours that you’re not very confident in your art – YOU’RE AMAZING! Keep up the work 🙂
