My deep muscle massage was intense today. It was painful but the good kind of painful. I think my body will really benefit from the relaxation and hopefully improve my training. Today is another rest day for me. I will most likely just go on another scenic walk.
I picked up some items to keep in the hotel fridge after my appointment. Some of you were asking what I keep when there is no kitchen around or in the hotel, so I put together a quick post. Jeremy is in Detroit for the Lions game and won’t be back until Sunday. I am the kind of person that can’t dine out by myself. I just get all flustered and freaked out because I feel like people feel sorry for me. I’m sure you all think I’m nuts or maybe you can relate?
I picked up some earth friendly bowls and plates to eat off. I grabbed strawberries, figs, steamers, cottage cheese, pumpkin seeds, bread, peanut butter, jelly, and mixed nuts.
I also picked up some hummus, soup, yogurt, and carrots. I’m a huge snacker, so that’s why I bought a lot of finger food. Plus there is no kitchen, so that rules out intense cooking. Tonight I will probably eat up my leftover sushi rolls and snack on everything. Maybe I’ll grow some balls this weekend and dine out by myself.
