I am so excited for the weekend. My brother is coming to town with Karlee, my Aunt & Uncle are coming down, and its going to be a fun 4th of July Bbq! I have lots of grocery shopping to do, baking to do, and crafting to get done for the bbq.
Last year, I spent the day with Nick. We ended our night watching fireworks at T-Bones on the Lake at Lake Wiley. It’s a great place to go if you’re in Charlotte, just be aware of all the traffic.
We may make it out there towards to end of the night, but we’ll see!
One of the drinks I plan on making tomorrow is a light & fresh strawberry daiquiri! They are so fun to serve in Pineapples, fun glasses or coconuts!
This daiquiri has: 4 cups frozen strawberries, 3 packets stevia, 1 cup light rum, 1/2 cup lime juice, 2 tablespoons honey, and 1/4 cup coconut water!
Blend it all up and drink responsibly! Makes (2-4 drinks depending on size of cup)
What is your favorite summer mixed drink?

Hey Tara!
I make an awesome drink every year, it’s corona, berry vodka, frozen raspberry lemonade, and frozen berries! Very refreshing and perfect for BBQs with friends! Can’t wait to try yours as well! Have a wonderful holiday weekend! 🙂

DAIquiri sounds a lot like a margarita!

That looks delicious! I love the pineapple glass! Your legs in those american flag shorts look so tan and perfect. I would love if you would post your leg workout routine!

Just a heads up, a serving a hard liquor (like rum) is 1.5 fl oz. This recipe makes a little over 5 servings. So yes, please drink responsibly.
