Yesterday, after getting to Ohio, we took a walk up the street to grab some groceries. We didn’t feel like dining out and we were craving grilled cheese. I have been craving grilled cheese since the season changed. It’s nice to see the leaves on the ground and the color change. The leaves are still green on the trees in North Carolina. My favorite part of walking in the fall is the crunch sound that the leaves make when you step on them.
Fall reminds me of being a kid at my grandparents house. All the cousins would meet up and rake for my grandma and grandpa. After raking the leaves into piles, we would all jump in them. Thinking about it, I can’t believe I actually jumped into spider, bug, and dirt infested piles. I guess that’s what being a kid is all about, not a care, or worry in the world.
The grocery store is about 1.5 miles up the road. I was so excited to enter Kroger. I haven’t been to a Kroger in a long time and it’s my favorite grocery store! We grabbed some refreshing snacks for the trip back. Pineapple and coconut water…you’d think we were in paradise.
After getting back to the house and putting the groceries away, we grabbed Grumples, our gloves, and headed to the park to toss the ball.
After showering off, I made grilled cheese, tomato soup, and salads.
The grilled cheese was really light. It was with the whole grain 35 calorie bread and the weight watchers cheese. The soup was Amy’s organic soup with skim milk mixed in.
We watched Dancing with the Stars while eating dinner and after that, I passed out like a baby!
My trip to be continued…

So did you not just say that you didn’t want to eat food on the road because of chemicals? But you eat a grilled cheese made with 35 calorie bread and weight watchers cheese. Also, you literally just deleted photos from Emilee’s Instagram the other day that showed you and your apartment number. There are some pretty crafty people out there who know where you live. Should you really be advertising your road trip? You should have waited to talk about it until you got home. I am now convinced more than ever that your ED has eaten your usuable brain cells.

This is super creepy, dude. Look at your life choices. What’s going on with you that you feel the need to show up on someone’s website and publicly shame and insult them? That’s really messed up.

There’s something to be said for the ol’ sandwhich and soup combo, especially at lunch time.

Grilled cheese and tomato soup is one of my favorite comfort foods. My mom used to make that all the time when I was a kid and it still takes me back and comforts me, especially in the fall. Thanks for this little trip down memory lane.

Just FYI, Kroger owns Harris teeter and I’ve seen that you go there a lot. Just letting u know that they are both the same

The reason I like Kroger over Harris Teeter is because of some of the products they carry that HT doesn’t. I used to get the carbmaster yogurt, some of the kroger brand trail mixes and more.
