Hey guys! I want to cover two things. I can’t promise it’ll only be two because I never plan what I’m about to type. It usually comes out like ketchup. Wow…that sounded really dumb but I refuse to backspace.
1. Last night’s dinner.
Last night after meeting up with Sealy for a dog park date, I came home because Jeremy and I had plans. Jeremy was sitting on the couch and looked like he was hit by a bus. The poor guys had a long crazy day. So we decided to get out of the house and walk a couple miles to go eat dinner. Sometimes going outside for a little exercise is the perfect “bad day” remedy. We ate at Moe’s Southwest Grill because it was the closest and it’s incredibly delicious. I ordered the Chicken salad bowl with all the fixings on top! I usually have them go light on the rice, beans, and cheese! I have them do extra corn, salsa, peppers, onions, and guac. I really liked the idea of walking to go out to eat and walking back. That’s a great way to earn it!
2. Taralynn…why haven’t you posted tons of recipes lately?
I have gotten a few comments about my lack of recipe posting. I really try hard to post as much as I can, but I don’t have my mixer, my blender, my pans, my utensils, my juicer, my grill, my crockpot, or anything to make FUN recipes. It’s kind of a challenge to make things with limited items. I will try much harder to do more of the “dorm room” approach! You guys left tons of great ideas on my last post, and I will be planning some fun ones out today! Sorry if my blog has disappointed you lately, and I’ll try to pick it back up.
3. So I guess there is a three…
I’ll be posting my 1000 calorie burn workout either tonight or tomorrow morning!
4. Okay…I lied…there are 4 things to discuss….
Liveashore tanks are at the printers! Launch details soon! xo
Since I like to leave post open…What would you like to see more of on my blog?

I, for one, like the more personal stories and daily activities you share rather than recipes! I have always wanted to visit South Carolina so seeing your pictures and where you go and what you do is awesome! Also lots of pictures of your pup works too!! 🙂

I live in Iowa, and the produce here is starting to come into season. With summer around the corner, could you post recipes using fresh fruits and veggies. I love to work with ingredients from farmer’s markets, and would love to have some new recipes to work with. Your recipes are always so colorful and creative! It would be great to see what you come up with 🙂

Love all your your posts! Enjoyed the “girls’ night” post. I’m quite shy and find it difficult to make friends and Im thinking about moving abroad next year to challenge myself and get better at meeting new people among many other reasons. I imagine it must be difficult or lonely for you sometimes constantly moving from place to place! Be great to hear any advice you have about settling into a new place from all your experiences!
Rebecca says
I would love your blog, but I think it would be cool to see more workouts!! 🙂

Taralynn,
I’ve been following you for over a year now. I love everything you post, I dont think they’ve been boring. Personally I like seeing what you eat when you go out and how you keep it healthy. Also I like your low cost and low key meals that you do post. It’s always giving me more ideas! Keep up the good work!

Agreed! It’s great to see how you keep it healthy when you’re out and about. That’s just as important since food is such a social thing in our society!
Amanda says
I love to keep updated with your life, you’re such an inspiration. With that being said, don’t worry about the flack others are giving you, blog what you feel!! If they don’t like it, they don’t have to read it 🙂

GRUMPLES…..more on Mr Grumples please, he is adorable:)
I know it is hot where you are now but do you ever make soups? It is still chilly here in Merry Ole England xox

My favorite posts are the ones where you get “real”… Or whatever. Haha. I love your pictures and everything but I really like when I read a post where I feel like I can relate to you. Like the self-esteem post or even that post where you were bitching about Jeremy. I hope that doesn’t make me sound like a psycho or anything lol so many blogs feel really shallow and impersonal so I like that yours isn’t!
Cindy says
I would love to know how you monetized your blog, gained followers, picked your design platform… essentially tips from an expert blogger. 🙂
Kristin says
Your blogs have still been great! Life happens, don’t beat yourself up about the circumstances not being great for recipes, the rest of your blogs are awesome too! I’m so excited about the tanks! Thanks for taking the time to share and inspire <3
Sarah says
I don’t think it’s been disappointing, I love all your posts and it’s been great seeing all your beautiful pictures. I would love more workout posts (already can’t wait to try the 1000 calorie burn workout) and baking recipes where you do swaps to make classic recipes healthier. I love those ones 🙂 keep up the amazing work Sxxx
Shelby says
I’d love to see a basic outline of your day! I know you post pics of your meals and workouts but maybe a little more order to it..?
Bethany says
I love your recipes- but I am a huuugee fan of your daily life posts! 🙂 They are probably my favorite! xoxo <3
Annie says
Don’t worry, your blog is still awesome and exciting! I really loved the “I hate her” post and the ones where you talk about self-esteem. Although I love my healthy lifestyle, I sometimes struggle with unhealthy food cravings, lack of exercise (motivation) and the way I look. It really helps me to read about your struggles because it shows me that there’s no such thing as perfection, but also that you can always chose to pick yourself back up and keep going 🙂
Elizabeth says
I love everything you post! You’ve been so inspiring and I look forward to reading your posts everyday. I love when you post your meals and tell us about your everyday life. Thanks for everything!
Jenni says
That’s funny because I really like the quick recipe ones! I have kids and I love things I can throw together in a hurry that are healthy. Those pizzas you posted last were a huge hit and delicious! Your blog has been as great as always!!:)
Emmie says
You shouldn’t feel sorry at all! I visit your blog almost every day and never leave disappointed :)Considering you can’t currently get crazy in the kitchen, I echo above comments and would to see more about your daily healthy/inspirational activities. You definitely post meals and workouts, but maybe while you’re not able to post details with recipe creations, you could post more details about your workouts and daily healthy living? So excited to see the 1000 cal burn workout 😀
Linda says
As a new pescetarian I’d love to see more vegetarian recipes and some with fish too 🙂 Just easy everyday things.
I love to see all the green fresh pictures and lovely blossoms, I’m a plant geek! But mostly its interesting to read what you are doing, things are so different for us Scandinavians! You really are an inspiration (says she who just polished of a bar of chocolate, hehe)
Bri says
I love your blog! The only thing I would say is maybe add more detail about all the foods you’re eating in a day? Kind of like an outline. 🙂 but your blog is great! I really don’t think you need to change anything.
Shayna says
I agree with most of the comments, I read your blog for your life stories and the recipes and exercises are just a bonus. I don’t think you have been slacking lately. Try to keep in mind that you are human and very busy. It is awesome that you are trying to please all of your readers. Keep up the good work. Even currently 8 months pregnant and I still find all of your posts inspiring.
Krista Whitaker says
Although I enjoy seeing your more creative recipes, I really love your quick and simple ones the most. The only time I am able to really cook for myself is on the weekends, so seeing you post healthy and simple recipe ideas for the busy work week is awesome! I also enjoy seeing what you purchase at restaurants, because it has helped me learn how to eat healthy when I eat out with my family and friends. Thank you so much for everything you’ve done!
Jenny says
I actually have been enjoying that you have been posting more than just recipes! I like reading about your travels and new healthy foods you find. I am confused as to what the comments are about, I feel like I am seeing recipes all the time. Maybe not with exact measurements, but a list of what goes in it is good enough for me. Lets you cater to your own tastes…
I would love to read about where you shop – you seriously have some killer clothes.
Also beauty / hair routine would be fun!
I love your blog – read it everyday. You have really motivated me to start a healthy life (and I am loving it!) – you make it seem so simple! Thanks for sharing your stories with us!!
Rachel says
More photos with people because I’m super nosey. Like your girls night post I didn’t get a visual of people, just dogs and booze. Also healthy eating on a budget would be great, I’m super poor and find it challenging to not buy ramen noodles and Mac n cheese. Your famous for losing weight so this shouldn’t be offensive, but how did you get the stamina to do all this running? I try and fail, seems like get weaker. Each day another mile was harder and harder and I found myself completely exhausted at 1.5 miles. Maybe my pace was off. Now I lift with a half a mile at the end. I’m gym retarded, my point is maybe pretend we are all dumb, we see and read about how you live your life but where do we start???
Kathryn says
I’d love to hear more about how you meet new people in the places you move to, and I love the restaurant reviews you do!
Tiah says
Being that I live in Charlotte and am from South Carolina (Myrtle Beach area) I always find in interesting to see the different places that you check out in the area (i actually live right down the road from the golf course in Ballantyne that ya’ll went to hehe) and as for recipes.. I would love to see a dairy free recipe version (i have a dairy allergy and often end up eating a lot of vegan products/recipes. Oh and I do love the Restaurant Reviews too.. and would love to know more about what you specifically order =)

I have been following your blog for 3, 4 years now. I started following about 6 months after your tumblr started. I love your personal stories, what shows you as the real you, Seeing your pictures and how truly happy you are is such an inspiration, however I understand your need for boundaries and privacy. I also love your recipes and how creative you get. I would love to see how much you spend on meals, what you spend on produce a week etc. I just moved to Chicago and as you know it’s quite expensive. I would love suggestions, tips. Thank you for all you do on your blog!
