I thought I’d be able to jump right into baking, taking photos, and blogging, but I left my camera in Iowa! It’s on it’s way to Detroit, so I’ll have better looking photos soon. Until then, I must use my cell phone.
Yesterday, I stopped at the grocery store to fill up my fridge from a months worth of abandonment. I made sure to empty it out before I left. I came home to condiments, frozen veggie burgers, and a rotten lemon hidden in the back. While at the grocery store, I picked up a carton of So Delicious Eggnog (coconut milk). (hidden in the photo above) This stuff is so good. It’ll be a nice eggnog treat until Christmas. Always real eggnog on Christmas! I want to start using this for some great seasonal recipes! I started with one last night. It’s not much of a recipe, more of an easy fix!
Mix together 1/2 cup eggnog and 2 tbsps chia seeds! Stir and cover. Place in the refrigerator overnight or for 3-4 hours! The chia seeds will absorb the eggnog and form a pudding-like texture!
This is a great way to sneak chia seeds into your daily intake. They are great for you!
