Peanut butter & banana. One of the best combinations out there! Why hasn’t anyone created a banana butter yet? or banana jelly? Maybe they do have something like that and I’m unaware. Until I find something that magical, I’ll have to keep slicing my bananas and topping my peanut butter toast or blending my peanut butter with my banana smoothies!
Bananas are a great post-workout fuel. They have carbohydrates and potassium that repair and re-energize our bodies. Adding protein to repair our bodies is important too. You should invest in a protein powder if you don’t get enough protein throughout the day. Protein powder is so diverse. You can add it to smoothies, baking, milk, or yogurt. I like Biochem, Vega, and Tera’s Whey the best!
Ingredients: *1/2 small frozen banana, *2 tbsps PB2 (or all natural peanut butter/almond butter), *1/2 tsp vanilla extract, *1 tbsp vanilla protein powder, *1 packet stevia, *1/2 cup ice, *1 cup water.

Hey, I love this recipe but my biggest doubt is how many time is required to eat a post-workout snack? I always have troubles about it 🙂

Where can I find PB2? I want to try this smoothie because all of your other smoothies were fantastic.

I found a case of PB2 on Amazon for $25.00 for 6 bottles, which is really good considering how expensive it is.
