Happy Hump-day! Wait…did I just say that? I mean…happy Wednesday!
I wanted to put together a couple photos from my instagram and add the recipes. I promise to make it quick!
Last night after dinner, I needed something sweet, yet healthy. I blended together: 1 cup ice, 1 cup frozen blueberries, 1 cup water, 1 scoop organic chocolate protein powder,and 1 packet stevia!
This morning, I got bored with my white mug, so I painted it 🙂 I used acrylic paint, then baked it. You can find out how to do this on Pinterest.
Yesterday afternoon, I whipped up a light salad to hold me other until dinner. It was just: lettuce, hard boiled egg, onion, cranberries, onion, green pepper, and strawberries. With all the flavored toppings, I didn’t need to add dressing. If I were to use dressing, I would choose poppy seed or a raspberry vinaigrette.
Last night for dinner, I had steamed vegetables, sweet sesame seed salmon and a garlic Greek yogurt dip. All I did for the salmon was add 1 tsp low sodium soy sauce on top, 1 tsp light brown sugar, sesame seeds and a sprinkle of cinnamon! I baked for 20 minutes at 350 degrees. I bought the Greek yogurt dip at Whole Foods.
This photo was from last Friday. In the middle of the day I got hungry. I snacked on plain rice cakes with pb2 & organic jelly. I’m excited to go to the farmers markets this weekend. I am going to start making homemade jams 🙂 But, anyways….that was my quick instagram recap!
