Happy Sunday!
The weather is amazing here in Georgia. The sun is out and the temperature is finally above 50. Instead of driving to the gym, I went on a 3 mile run outside. To be honest, after running on a treadmill for so long, I forgot how much I dislike running outside. There are not too many running paths here, so stopping at cross walks throws me off. I also have trouble with keeping a steady pace, which the treadmill helps me do. I just need to get out and do it more often, then maybe I’ll learn to love it again.
Before I took off for my run, I had a light breakfast.
1/2 Honeycrisp Apple
Omelet (3 Egg Whites, 1 Yoke, 3 Tbsp Almond Milk, Dash Pepper, 1/2 Tsp Minced Garlic)
1 Slice Whole Grain Toast
After my run, I went inside and did a small at home workout.
Three Sets, 25 Sit Ups
Four Sets, 10 Push Ups
50 Jumping Jacks
Three Sets, 1 Minute Plank
15 Minutes Stretching Out
30 Leg Lifts on Each Leg
1/2 Banana
2 Scoops Chocolate Whey Protein Powder (Whole Foods)
1 Packet Stevia
1 Cup Ice Cold Water
I’ll be heading in the gym later on tonight with Jeremy to do some weight lifting. This morning was kind of nice to change up the usual gym routine.
