I feel like Fall is playing tricks on me. The trees are changing, but the weather feels like spring. This fall consist of rainy days, sunny days and days of both. I have been wearing a coat and boots every other day. Today I rocked my flip flops. The weather outside is beautiful today. I was burning up after my run this morning, which is shocking for late October.
To cool off after my run, I made a refreshing smoothie. I wanted something healthy and light. I was heading to brunch with my mom shortly after. I didn’t want to be too full.
I cut up 1/2 small banana and 5 large strawberries. I added those to the blender. Next, I added: 1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk, 1 packet of Truvia, 1/2 cup ice and 1 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder. I blended on high, until thick and smooth.
