Last night I was on a salmon craze. For lunch I had my left overs from the Big Bowl from the night before with my parents. I had the Teriyaki Salmon and I guess it just wasn’t enough.
I normally have my mom make my salmon because I can never get it as perfect as her, but now that I am living on my own it was time to do some experimenting.
I browsed the internet for tasty salmon recipes and I came across http://www.howsweeteats.com/2012/03/toasted-sesame-ginger-salmon/ It came out so yummy. I shredded it up to add to my Orzo.
I bought Whole Wheat Orzo from Whole Foods and added :
1 Cup Steamed Snow Peas
1 Cup Bell Pepper Strips
2 Tbsp Sesame Oil
1 Tsp Garlic Powder
1 Tsp Ground Pepper
2 Tbsp Parmesan
The Orzo Without the Salmon was 130 Calories for 1/3 Cup.
